HUDWAY helps you drive safer in fog, rain, heavy snow, in dusk and darkness. It creates the route you’re driving, and reflects it on the windshield as a Head-Up Display (HUD). Together with timely voice hints on the approaching road bends, the information displayed on your windshield is easy to perceive and use. You’re always aware of what’s ahead — a straight run or a ramp-turn.

— Turn your iPhone or iPad into Head-Up Display (HUD) in any car
— Works off Apple, Google or OpenStreetMap (OSM) maps
— Build a route worldwide to your destination point
— Use transit points (via) to build a specific route
— GPS tracking (track record) helps you track your way and use it later for navigation
— Professional Voice Assistance (Co-Pilot)
— Turn-by-Turn directions
— Animated 3D road view
— Customizable road visualization
— Average and maximum speed calculation
— Acceleration 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) calculation
— Accurate speed calculation (using accelerometer)
— Save routes to drive them later, offline
— Share routes and results with your friends (Facebook, Twitter, VK)
— Distance in miles/kilometers, meters/feet/yards

When you’ve created the route with Hudway, place your smartphone on a dashboard. The road outlines are now reflected on your windshield, as well as the distance to the next meaningful curve, and your vehicle speed — all accurate and real-time.

NB: Works only in low visibility conditions (rain, fog, heavy snow or darkness). During a day-time using HUDWAY Glass (hudwayglass.com) is recommended.

Professional Voice Assistant alerts you on the approaching road bends, so that you know exactly when to slow down and speed up.

Build routes and save them to drive later, without Internet connection. Handy, when in countryside.

Attention: Hudway works in a background mode. Continued use of GPS and Audio-services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Pros and cons of HUDWAY — GPS with Head-Up Display HUD for drivers app for iPhone and iPad

HUDWAY — GPS with Head-Up Display HUD for drivers app good for

Love this app and only reason for 4 stars is fact that the directions doesnt have street names !! Please add that to voice command. For ex: Siri says "hard left in 100m" instead I would prefer "hard left in 100m on John street. That would make his app 100x better. Please take this to consideration and otherwise, excellent app. I ever bought pro version on both the apps. Thank you
Its a futuristic way to navigate. It is safer because you dont have to take your eyes off the road to look at the map and your speed because it is reflected right in front of you, plus it has voice instructions! One suggestion for the developers. Its a great app but please keep it updated and well synchronized with Apple and Google maps, voice instructions should be like those apps not like the ones used for race car driving.. It would be great if we have more color choices and more polished turn indicator arrows.
If you guys release a pro mode with offline maps, probably Ill buy the pro version. Just need this feature to be the best GPS Navigation app
nice. needs development but a very good beginning. Crossings are not proper marked. Poi not there. 90 % go ahead with it.
I tested this app out for 130 Km on the Sea to Sky highway as an observer not a driver and it was accurate all the way and was visible even during the morning in overcast conditions . It crashed when first opened but then worked fine. There is an issue with arrival notification and the vendor is working on it There is room for improvement but this app could be very useful when driving in inclement conditions
This app provides an accurate real-time route preview and speed. This is exactly what I expected. I just upgraded to pro. Almost all the other reviews seem like nonsense. Im not sure why. I guess most people arent all that bright.

Some bad moments

Very disappointing after long wait: 1- neither mount stays attached to the curved dash in my car (carefully cleaned and dried first) 2- app is RUBBISH! a- doesn't automatically re-calc route if you go off route b- no road names so VERY hard to follow c- display only swivels to landscape if you go anti-clockwise - NOT AT ALL intuitive for an iPhone app
Nice app. Works good but if you stray from the route it doesnt recalculate. The app stops giving directions and just shows route ahead and speed.
Terrible. Couldnt sign up to log in. Gave up after 20 frustrating minutes.
Its really very bad, nothing is working, there is nothing like HUD, this feature doesnt work at all. I prefer to delete this app from the App Store, so we dont loose time to download such an App that hv nothing working. Pls dont even try it.
Installed it on my iPhone 4s with OS 7.1 and the current location wouldnt work. This renders the app useless on this device. Dont know if current location works on newer devices. Please provide fix. Thanks
Holly molly! Is that only me who tried this app!? It is just not usable! What a bad idea. You just cant see the thing on your windshield. Dont even bother!
